PAUL KONIGSBERG

Paul Konigsberg has over 20 years of experience in the mortgage industry spanning primary mortgage market origination, secondary market analysis, structuring, trading and portfolio management. Paul began his investment career at Guaranty National Bank of Tallahassee where he was responsible for mortgage origination. From March 2002 through December 2004, Paul served as an analyst and CMO structurer for Freddie Mac and later joined FBR (Friedman, Billings & Ramsey) in a similar capacity in February 2005. From November 2006 through April 2009 he served as Portfolio Manager at E*Trade Financial where he was responsible for managing a $10 billion mortgage backed securities portfolio (which included over $1 billion of non-agency mortgage backed securities) as well as a $5 billion mortgage servicing portfolio. Paul began investing his own money in mortgage backed securities in 2007. Paul started Bluebird Funds in 2009 to invest in mortgages. Paul leveraged his experience an all sides of the mortgage to market to bring his mortgage clients experienced and knowledgeable loan advice. Paul holds Bachelor of Science degrees in both physics and electrical engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. He also holds a Master of Engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
